Sometimes, we do not have to throw away the old one just because we have a plan to replace it with the new one. We can make some alterations based on what we already have, and that is how renovation works sometimes. Chalupko Design did wonderful work in Warsaw, revitalizing one of the lofts in an old building of formerly used as silver and bronze factory. The team managed to fulfill what has been the owner of the loft’s demand, to create modern and cozy interior that can go very well with the historical side of the building. Combined with modern style, the team was successful in keeping the original character of the rooms by adding bricks, a platform table, black steel book shelving, and bar chairs.
In the mid part of the home, there is the living room. This social zone hosts decorative elements that make the room looks so dynamic. The color palette of each element was carefully chosen in order to bring the right tone to the home. Creating beautiful color contrast is not easy task, but the team did the right thing when playing with color selection. They contrasted the beige palette of the room with walnut wood, black granite countertop, black steel elements around the living room, dark grey tiles in the bathroom, and dark wallpaper in the bedroom. All those color bring the warm and light tone out, and that is very impressive.
