L-House by CCM2 Architects is just the perfect example from many contemporary designs we should take note. The cottage located in Fossambault-sur-le-Lac, QC, Canada reminds us to the neighboring traditional Quebec homes. To avoid noise during the construction work, the project developers decided to use prefabricated materials. For the L-shape, it comes from the intersecting prefabricated main volume with the wooden cantilevered rectangular block.
The home has a flexible layout and fits the demand of modern family. We are going to find bright living room, perfect for the family to hang out, on the first floor. In the meantime, the second floor accommodates a library, a large washroom, the bedrooms and two balconies offering the inhabitants the scenery of St.Joseph lake. There is patio under the master bedroom and its balcony. By looking at the home from the outside, we would think that it is a home perfect for a holiday.
